- Serg. Frasure’s new memorial, decked with the flag under which
he served.

- Knoxville Chapter 89 President Shirley Rouse opened the dedication
service

- Sevier County Historian Sam Manerd gave researched information
on Sgt Frasure and provided a beautiful eulogy. Mr. Manerd personally
carried the new 300 lb. headstone up a steep mountain trail and
set the stone for the ceremony.

- Knoxville Chapter 89, UDC members gather after the headstone dedication.

- Confederate Reenactors served as the Honor Guard for the ceremony.

- Direct descendents of Serg. Frasure participated in the dedication
and received the flags used to honor their heroic Confederate ancestor.

- Confederate reenactors Ryan McKenzie and Paul Ogle stand guard
at the newly placed memorial.

- Serg. Frasure’s headstone finally reflects his military service
and his Cause. May he rest in peace.
